  • Description: Abnormal condition in head transistor
  • Remedy: Temperature abnormality of head transistor on MAIN board or sensor abnormality of thermistor may be occurred.
    1. Replace thermistor. 2. Replace MAIN board.

  • Display: E 097 error NVRAM
  • Description: Abnormal condition in NVRAM
  • Remedy: MAIN board assembly may be faulty. Replace MAIN board assembly.

  • Display: Cover open
  • Description: Front cover is open.
  • Remedy: 1. Is the front cover open? Close the front cover. 2. Is the cover sensor assembly loose? Tighten cover sensor assembly screws. 3. Is the cable between the F cover R sensor assembly and F cover L sensor assembly connected securely? Make sure to connect the cable of F cover R sensor to MAIN board assembly connector J46, and the cable of F cover L sensor assembly to MAIN board assembly connector J49. 4. Are the F cover R sensor assembly and F cover L sensor assembly damaged? Replace the F cover R sensor assembly and F cover L sensor assembly.

Adjust lever sensor assembly position. 4. Is the sensor of lever sensor assembly contaminated? Clean the sensor face using a swab, etc. 5. Is the lever sensor cable connected securely? Correctly connect lever sensor assembly cable to MAIN board assembly connector J30. 6. Check lever sensor relay assembly operation from “Sen 7:Lever” of selfdiagnosis function. Replace lever sensor relay assembly. 7. MAIN board assembly may be damaged. Replace MAIN board assembly.

Make sure to connect to MAIN board assembly J42. 3. CR board assembly may be damaged. Replace CR board assembly. 4. Check whether there is media or not from "Sen 9: Rear" of self-diagnosis function. If you have set media but the printer still displays “No media,” replace media rear sensor assembly. 5. CR_FFC may be damaged. Replace CR_FFC. 6. MAIN board assembly may be damaged. Replace MAIN board assembly.
