    • ASF4 PID lock error (error code: 000564)
    • ASF4 PID lock error (error code: 000565)
    • ASF4 PID lock error (error code: 000566)
  • Causes: • State in which load of additional ASF motor exceeds expected load
    • When rotated in the opposite direction to rotation direction (There was a sudden load error, and the motor rotated in the opposite direction in reaction to it)
    • State in which load of motor exceeds expected load, and motor does not rotate at all
    • Jammed paper remaining
    • Additional ASF motor encoder failure
    • Paper path damaged and conveyance roller worn out
    • Gears locking due to foreign object
    • Locked because additional ASF gear train part failure
    • Additional ASF motor failure
    • Motor driver failure/additional main board failure
  • Remedy: 1 Check for jammed paper remaining There is no jammed paper remaining in the paper feed path.
    Y. Go to step 2
    N. Remove the jammed paper.
2 Check the sensor state Turn on the power of the product and check the feed operation. Check that the additional ASF motor does not operate abnormally.
    Y. Go to step 3
    N. Replace the additional ASF motor encoder.
3 Check the paper feed path and conveyance roller. A conveyance roller is not damaged or worn out. Also, is it operating normally?
    Y. Go to step 4
    N. Replace the conveyance roller.
4 Check the 2nd APG gear train parts Check the ASF gear train parts to make sure that there is no foreign object on or damage to them.
    Y. Replace the main board (If the trouble is not resolved, inquire at service support)
    N. Replace the damaged part
  • Code: 000570
  • Description: ASF4 load position driving time error
  • Causes: The drive time of the motor exceeded the set time.
    • Additional main board failure
  • Remedy: 1 Check the reproducibility Did the corresponding error occur?
    Y. Replace the main board
    N. Inquire at service support
  • Code: 000572
  • Description: ASF4 load position excess speed error
  • Causes: State in which driven at unexpected speed (fast) for control.
    • Additional ASF gear train detached or damaged
    • Motor failure
    • Main board failure
  • Remedy: 1 Check the additional ASF gear train parts Has an additional ASF gear train part dropped off or become detached?
    Y. Replace the additional board unit. (If the trouble is not resolved, inquire at service support)
    N. Reassemble the additional ASF gear train parts.
  • Code: 00073
  • Description: FB BS+ excess speed detection
  • Causes: State in which driven at unexpected speed (fast) for control.
    • Encoder cable disconnected
    • ADF/SCN unit failure (motor driver failure)
  • Remedy: 1 Check the connection state of the encoder cable Is the cable of the corresponding encoder correctly connected to the SCN main board? (CN30, CN31, and CN32)
    Y. Replace the ADF/SCN unit.
    N. Reconnect the encoder cable.
  • Code: 030001
  • Description: PE DETECTOR ERROR
  • Causes: Occurs when PE detection can not be performed correctly due to failure of PE sensor etc.
    • PE sensor failure
    • Main board failure
  • Remedy: 1 Check the PE sensor cable connection state. Check that the PE sensor cable is properly connected.
    Y. Go to step2
    N. Reassemble
2 Check the operation after reinstalling the Main Board. Replace main board with normal product and check operation. Did the error occur?
    Y. Replace the PE sensor.
    N. Replace the Main board.
  • Code: 030002
  • Description: PW SENSOR LIGHT VALUE ADJUST ERROR
  • Causes: Occurs when the paper presence can not be detected even if the maximum light emission amount is increased in the adjustment of the light emission amount.
    • PW sensor failure
    • Main board failure
  • Remedy: 1 Check the PW Sensor FFC connection state. Check that the PW sensor FFC is properly connected.
    Y. Go to step2
    N. Reassemble
2 Check the operation after reinstalling the Main Board. Replace main board with normal product and check operation. Did the error occur?
