• Remedy: Replace the main logic board.

• Code: 08
• Display: ERROR CONDITION PAPER OUT
• Description:
• Causes: Printer stops. PAPER OUT and PAUSE LED ON. No media loaded or incorrectly loaded. Misadjusted Media Sensor
• Remedy: Load media correctly.

• Code: 09
• Display: ERROR CONDITION RIBBON OUT
• Description:
• Causes: Printer stops. RIBBON OUT and PAUSE LED ON. No ribbon loaded or incorrectly loaded. Ribbon Sensor not sensing ribbon that is loaded correctly. Misadiusted Ribbon Sensor
• Remedy: Load ribbon correctly. Check Ribbon Sensor operation. Adjust if necessary

• Code: 10
• Display: ERROR CONDITION HEAD OPEN
• Description:
• Causes: Printer stops. HEAD OPEN LED Flashes and PAUSE LED ON. Printhead is not fully closed. Head Open Sensor not detecting Flag or Flag not in proper position.
• Remedy: Close printhead completely. Check Head Open Sensor and Flag for proper operation.

• Code: 11
• Display: ERROR CONDITION HEAD OVER TEMP
• Description:
• Causes: Printer stops and PAUSE LED flashes. Printhead element is overheated.
• Remedy: Printer resumes printing when the printhead element cools

• Code: 12
• Display: ERROR CONDITION HD ELEMENT FAIL
• Description:
• Causes: Printhead element going bad - experiencing print quality problems.
• Remedy: To override this message, (1) place JT 0 in your format and then (2) JO to turn off the HEAD TEST. Clean printhead and test for proper printing. Replace printhead if necessary
