- Display: 79 SERVICE (XXXX) PRINTER ERROR
- Description: A hardware error has occurred.
X=Description 01XX = IO ASIC register error 02XX = video ASIC register error 03XX = IDE ASIC register error
- Remedy: 1. Reseat the formatter. 2. Reseat the firmware DIMM. 3. Run formatter diagnostics. 4. Replace the firmware DIMM. 5. Replace the formatter.
- Code: 80
- Display: 80 SERVICE (XXXX) EIO ERROR
- Description: A critical EIO failure has occurred. X indicates the slot number of the device. XXXX indicates the error type.
- Remedy: 1. Turn the printer off and on to reset the printer. 2. Reseat the EIO card. 3. Replace the EIO card.
