Problem:

A spurious squeaking noise is heard at 0.3 sec. intervals

Cause:

A blockage in the AIO waste toner path is causing the toner coil to make noise.

Details:

Can occur at the beginning of machine use.

Solution:

Remove and reinstall the AIO. If this does not solve the problem, replace the AIO.

Problem:

Machine emits a squeak when it stops. As time goes on, it turns into a long noise.

Cause:

The blade is abrading the surface of the OPC.

Details:

• This can occur when ambient temperature and humidity are high.
• When the machine is operated at half-speed in the HQ image mode.
• After the OPC temperature has gone high after a long print job.
• The problem presents over time.

Solution:

Increase the interval between print jobs.

Problem:

Spurious highpitched screeching occurs.

Cause:

The development blade is abrading the surface of the development roller.

Details:

Can occur at the beginning of machine use or over time.

Solution:

Replace the AIO.
