Replace the appropriate photoconductor unit or developer unit.

a Enter the Diagnostics menu, and then navigate to:

b Check the test page.
Is only one color missing?

Check the contacts of the photoconductor unit and developer unit with the affected color.
Are the contacts clean?
Go to step 10. Go to step 9.

Clean the contacts.
Does the problem remain?
Go to step 10. The problem is solved.

Do the following:
  1. If the missing color is cyan, magenta, or yellow, then replace the appropriate developer unit.
  2. If the missing color is black, then replace the black developer unit.

a Enter the Diagnostics menu, and then navigate to:
Printer diagnostics & adjustments > Motor tests
b Select the developer unit with the affected color, and then touch Start.

a Turn off the printer to let the printhead shutters remain open. b Remove the developer and PC combos, and then clean the printhead lenses using a lint-free cloth.
