9. An abnormal sound is generated

Failure point and check method	Corrective action
Check if each roller, pulley and gear rotate smoothly.	Apply grease to the bushing and roller shaft.
Check if the roller of the developer unit rotates.	Replace the developer unit if it is locked.
Check if the cause is the primary transfer unit cleaning section or main unit drive section.	1. Clean the cleaning section if it is clogged with toner. 2. Apply grease if the sliding noise heard from the side of the main unit side waste toner joint gear.
Check the occurrence at the fuser unit. Printing. Or, in case the fuser motor rotates reversely to release the fuser pressure at power-up.	Check the meshing of the gears and reattach the fuser unit. Grease is applied to the gear related to the fuser drive fuser.
Check if it occurs when the cassette lift motor works	Check if the cassette lift motor is securely attached and reattach it.
