Detection timing

| Fusing/exit section misfeed detection | • The exit paper sensor (PS3) is not unblocked even after the lapse of a given period of time after the registration sensor (PS1) has been blocked. |
| Detection of paper left in fusing/exit section | • The exit paper sensor (PS3) is blocked at timing when the power switch is turned ON, the cover is opened and closed, or a paper misfeed or malfunction is reset. |
