While feeding a document

ADF does not feed the document.

The pickup roller is dirty or worn out.

Clean the roller. Replace the roller.

The power of the separation roller is getting decrease. The separation pad pressure does not match the paper quality.

Adjust the separation pressure. Clean the roller.

The motor is not rotating.

Replace the motor. Replace the ADF board.

While scanning document

The feeder stops the feeding job while the document is taken into the feeder.

The malfunction of the sensor.

Replace the sensor.

The motor power is not working properly.

Replace the motor. Replace the ADF board.

The roller is dirty.

Clean the roller.

The roller is worn out.

Replace the roller.

The document is stuck and gets damaged while taken into the feeder.

Foreign objects entered the feed area.

Remove the objects.

The paper quality is not acceptable.
The paper shape is not acceptable.

Recommend the customer to use the document glass.
