NOTE

• USB memory must be connected with the main power switch off.
• When updating the firmware, use the service port. It cannot be updated when connected to other USB port.

Preparation

Conditions for USB memory which can be used for updating the firmware are as follows:

• USB flash memory compatible with the USB (1.1/2.0) interface
• Formatted to the FAT32 file system
• Memory capacity of 2GB or less recommended.*1
• Not including security features (Possible to turn OFF security features)
• A USB flash memory that appears as multiple drives on a computer cannot be used.

NOTE
• *1: Possible to be non-operational products.

1. Extract the obtained firmware data.
2. Connect the USB to the PC, and copy the extracted firmware data to the root directory of the USB memory.

NOTE
More than one firmware data with a single model can be stored in the USB memory. In this case, copy the firmware data to the USB memory according to the following procedures.

1. Copy the firmware data to the root directory of the USB memory. (When making a folder and storing more than one firmware data, it is also necessary to copy the firmware data to the root directly.)
2. Make the folder named "FWSelect" (case-sensitive) to the root directory of the USB memory.
3. Make a folder with any folder name (one byte alphameric characters, maximum 40 characters) under "FWSelect" folder, and store the firmware data to the folder.
