Troubleshooting. ADF/SCN ERROR (5)
Error name
- Contact detection distance exceeded (error code: 100017)
Cause
- Gradual fitting cannot be performed when gradual fitting drive is performed at the zero-point side.
Suspected cause
- FW failure
- Wheel column, belt runout
Troubleshooting

| 1 | Check for the firmware. Check whether or not the firmware is the latest version. |
Go to step 2 | Update the firmware. |
| 2 | Visually check the FFCs of the ADF/SCN Unit. Check the FFC (thin) in ADF/SCN to make sure that it is not inserted obliquely, folded, or damaged. |
Go to step 3 | Properly connect the FFC of ADF/SCN. Replace the ADF/SCN Unit if the FFC is damaged. |
