Adjustment. 2 Density
The center density and the density variation controlled by density adjustment keys can be adjusted as follows.

* If this setting has been changed, the density levels of the “IMAGE SMOOTHING” or “Photo” in the black mode may be affected.

Make a test copy and compare the image obtained with the current settings; if necessary, make adjustments according to the following procedure.
Note: Be sure that this adjustment is made after performing "Automatic gamma adjustment".
Procedure
- While pressing [0] and [5] simultaneously, turn the power ON.
- Key in a code and press the [START] button.
- Key in an adjustment value. (To correct the value once keyed in, press the [CLEAR] button.)
- Press the [ENTER] or [INTERRUPT] button to store the value. → The equipment goes back to the ready state.
- Press the [FAX] button and then press the [START] button to make a test copy.
- If the desired image quality has not been attained, repeat step (2) to (5).
