Upload (Backup) to SD Card
- Prepare a formatted SD card.
- Make sure that the write-protection on the SD card is off.
- Turn off the main power switch.
- Remove the SD card slot cover [A], and then install the SD card into the SD card slot 2 [B] (for service use).
- Turn on the main power switch.
- Enter the SP mode, and then execute SP5-846-051 (Backup All Addr Book).
- Exit from the SP mode, and then turn off the main power switch.
- Remove the SD card from the SD card slot 2.
- Install the SD card slot cover.
Note:
- If the capacity of SD card is not enough to store the local user information, an error message is displayed.
- Carefully handle the SD card, which contains user information. Do not take it back to your location.
Download (Restore) to Machine
- Turn off the main power switch.
- Remove the SD card slot cover [A], and then install the SD card, in which the data has been uploaded, into the SD card slot 2 [B].
- Turn on the main power switch.
- Enter the SP mode, and then execute SP5-846-052 (Restore All Addr Book).
- Exit from the SP mode, and then turn off the main power switch.
- Remove the SD card form the SD card slot 2.
- Install the SD card slot cover.
- Turn on the main power, and then check that the address book has been restored.
Note:
- The counter in the user code information is initialized after uploading.
- The information of an administrator and supervisor cannot be downloaded nor uploaded.
- If there is no data of address book information in the SD card, an error message is displayed.
Erasing the Backup Data
After restoring the data, execute SP5-846-053 (Clear Backup Info) to erase the address book data stored in the SD card.
