Troubleshooting. PRINTING TEST PATTERN: SP2902-003
Some of these test patterns are used for copy image adjustments but most are used primarily for design testing. These test patterns do not use the IPU.
NOTE:
Do not operate the machine until the test pattern is printed out completely. Otherwise, an SC may occur.
- Enter the SP mode and select SP2902-003.
- Enter the number for the test pattern that you want to print and press [#] (See the table below.)
- When you are prompted to confirm your selection, press Yes to select the test pattern for printing.
- Press Copy Window to open the copy window, then select the settings for the test print (paper size, etc.)
- Press [Start] twice (ignore the “Place Original” messages) to start the test print.
- After checking the test pattern, press SP Mode (highlighted) to return to the SP mode display.
- Exit the SP mode.
