  • Remedy: Wires 1 Are wires between Wire Cleaning Motor and DC Driver PCB (PW7755) connected properly? No Connect the wires properly.
Wire Cleaning Motor (M9) 2 Select the Function Checking Mode, and check whether or not the Wire Cleaning Motor works alone. (Signal Code: “6C”) No Replace the Wire Cleaning Motor with the new one.
Image Corona 3 Repeat the above step, and check the voltage between both wires of the Wire Cleaning Motor. Does it change +24V to –24V when the Cleaning pad hit the other end? No Replace the DC Controller with the new one. Yes Replace the Image Corona with the new one, since the guide rail is bent.
  • Code: E-21
  • Description: Fuser Thermostat Error
  • Causes: Thermostat is open circuit.
  • Remedy: Wires 1 Are wires connected properly among Thermostat, AC Terminal Board and DC Controller PCB? No Connect the wires properly.
Thermostat (TS1) 2 Check the resistance of the Thermostat. Is there any resistance? No Replace the Thermostat with the new one.
AC Terminal Board (PW4210) 3 Check the voltage at J107-1 and J106-7 on the AC Terminal PCB with a multi-meter. Does the voltage of J106-7 show 0Vdc while J107-1 shows 24Vdc? No Replace the AC Terminal Board with the new one. Yes Replace the DC Controller PCB with the new one.
  • Code: E-23
  • Description: LED Head Cleaning Error
  • Causes: Over-current signal is not detected within 90 seconds after the motor is turned on.
  • Remedy: Wires 1 Are wires between LED Head Cleaning Motor and DC Driver PCB (PW7755) connected properly? No Connect the wires properly.
LED Head Cleaning Motor (M8) 2 Select the Function Checking Mode, and check whether or not the LED Head Cleaning Motor works alone. (Signal Code: “83”) No Replace the LED Head Cleaning Motor with the new one.

No Replace the DC Controller with the new one. Yes Replace the guide rail with the new one, since the guide rail is bent.
  • Code: E-49
  • Description: Developer Pushing Motor Error
  • Causes: Developer Home Position is not detected within 60 seconds after Developer Pushing Motor is turned on.
  • Remedy: Connector 1 Is it connected to the Developer Position Sensor? Check the connector of the Developer Pushing Motor, too. No Connect it.
Developer Position Sensor (PH25) 2 Open the Right Side Door. (Do not cheat the Interlock switch.) Select the Input / Output Checking Mode, and check the status of Developer Position Sensor. (Signal Code: “2B”) Is it “L”? When you insert the sheet of paper between the photo interrupter, does it show “H”? No Replace the Developer Position Sensor to the new one.
Developer Position Motor (M4) 3 Select the Function Checking Mode, and check whether or not the Developer Position Motor works alone. (Signal Code: “68”) No Check the connector and if it is connected, replace the Developer Position Motor. Yes Adjust the position of Cam and the disk plate of the photo interrupter.
  • Code: J-01
  • Description: 1st Roll Deck Jam
  • Causes: 1. The Paper Set Sensor Signal (RP_SET1) does not change from H to L within a specific time since the machine has started feeding the 1st roll paper from the Roll Wait Position. 2. The Paper Set Sensor Signal (RP_SET1) does not change from L to H within a specific time since the machine has started rewinding the 1st roll paper toward the Roll Wait Position.
  • Remedy: Setting condition of roll paper 1 Is the roll paper in the 1st Roll Deck set properly? No Set it properly.
Paper Set Sensor 1 (PH1) 2 Check the status of Paper Set Sensor Signal (RP_SET1) in the Input / Output Checking Mode. (Signal Code of RP_SET1 is “04”.) Is the status “H” when the roll paper is not set? And is it “L” when the roll paper is set? No 1. Check the wire of Paper Set Sensor 1. 2.
